Teacher Tools for Student Engagement Coming This Summer!

Our LEA partners consistently ask Northwest AEA to provide professional learning that promotes evidence-based Tier 1 Universal Instruction.  It is our pleasure to continue this tradition through our newest course: Teacher Tools for Student Engagement.

“Teacher Tools” seeks to equip teachers with strategies to help engage all learners at all levels.  This is a tall order.  To accomplish this task, we went back to the research and collated a sequence of techniques proven to help teachers develop a dynamic classroom culture that benefits their students.

We will be offering this 3-day course twice during the summer: June 6-8 and July 31-August 2 at our new Sioux City offices at 5800 Al Haynes Drive, near the airport.  This course would be excellent for teachers new to the classroom, along with veteran instructors that want to refresh their teaching toolbox.  We will also be offering a stand-alone “coaching seminar” for instructional coaches and administrators looking to implement the “Teacher Tools” with fidelity among their staff on August 3.

For more information, check out this list of modules for the course.  This document also has links for registration:  https://bit.ly/TeacherToolsOnePager

Can’t come to us?  We can bring “Teacher Tools” to you!  We already have six buildings within our Agency that have invited us to train their entire staff in this professional development.  Our calendar is filling fast for 23-24, but we would love to have a discussion with you.
