Middle and high school students who have special needs are invited to attend the 2014 "Broadening Our Horizons" conference on either March 20 or 21 in Sioux City at Western Iowa Tech Community College.

During the workshop, there will be sessions with the keynote speaker, Richard Pimentel, and other presenters on topics related to living, learning and working after high school. Students will learn how to build communication skills, develop a clear understanding of their abilities and know how to access accommodations in their future environments.

Lunch and a tour of the campus will be provided. There is no charge for this conference. Students must be accompanied by a teacher or parent.

Please see the promotional flyer for more information and how to register.
