From time to time, the staff and/or supervisors at Northwest AEA receive very nice comments about the success of those whom we serve and the difference our employees make. Here is one such note from Tim Snyder, elementary principal at West Lyon CSD:
"I just got out of an IEP meeting with a parent of a kindergartener [who was] in tears telling us how great Jean Klumpp (speech-language pathologist) has been over the past two years. She told me the reason they are not moving to the family farm just across the state line is because of our school. She mentioned specifically Jean and the awesome job she has done with her child. I’ve known Jean for 25 years, and she continues to do an outstanding job and has always put her students’ needs first.
I could say the same thing about Randy Marks (special education strategist), as well. We couldn’t be a great school without the support we get from Northwest AEA, and we appreciate all you provide for us. Thanks!"
If you have experienced success with a student or family and the AEA has played a role, please let us know. We like to share our stories to inspire others who are in similar situations!
