Video created to educate school staff about Northwest AEA
Each year, the Iowa Department of Education sends schools a customer survey regarding the services Northwest AEA provides. Every year, we receive many comments. One of the common comments from Northwest AEA educators is, “We don’t know what services you provide.” This correspondence is an attempt to answer this comment.
We offer special education strategists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and instructional coaches for each building. To learn more about how these professionals can help in your school, please watch this short video.
To also assist you, please look to find the AEA staff assigned to your building. We encourage you to contact them with any questions.
On behalf of Northwest AEA, we wish you much success in this new school year! We would like to continue to partner with you to increase student achievement. AEA employees strive to find solutions for kids with special needs and brainstorm with teachers to help students achieve. Please let us know how we can assist you this year.
