Are you ready to network, meet other LIEP teachers and listen to some quality speakers? The state of Iowa has an annual conference, which is engaging and highlights the many facets of culture in our state. ICLC will be held this year in Coralville from November 6-8th at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.

On Monday, November 6th, register for a pre-conference workshop. Many options include learning about cultural communities, teaching ELs, relevant literature and/or legal matters with ELs. Then on days 2 and 3 of the conference, keynote speakers; breakout sessions and exhibitors are available. This conference really is nice for first year LIEP teachers. It’s nice for administrators and other EL representatives to meet others from across the state and see how our Iowa schools meet the needs of the many culturally-linguistically diverse students. You do not want to miss out.

Register before October 15th and receive the early bird rate. Hotel rooms are available at the Marriott as well. Please use the link below to take a gander and for additional information.
