Minecraft is such a popular game for kids of all ages, but it can be so much more than a gam!e! Have you ever thought about teaching your grade level concepts and skills using Minecraft? The video below is of a teacher who did just that with his 5th and 6th grade students. Not only does using Minecraft teach technology skills, but it teaches collaboration, critical thinking, communication and creativity. Students had to learn about the concept and do research before they built in the Minecraft world. By using Minecraft to teach skills and concepts, you will be engaging students in their own learning.
