I recently attended the Midwest Google Summit in Wisconsin and one of the sessions I attended was all about Google Maps. Most of us think of Google maps as a way to get us from point A to point B on our phone's GPS, but there are so many more resources and mapping tools within Google. You can visit National Parks, museums, take literacy trips, go back in time, create your own maps and so much more.

Our presenter shared his presentation with us. Click Here for a link to a motherload of Google mapping resources. He gives a link to all of the different maps in his presentation with a short description of what the map is and what it does.

There is a whole world out there to explore with students of all ages. Happy exploring!
