This Iowa 1:1 conference is coming up next week! It will be held at the Iowa Events Center on April 4th-5th. There is a leadership day on April 4th featuring Beth Holland.

From the Iowa 1:1 website, Beth's description is: "Beth Holland has over 18 years of experience working in and around K-12 schools as a classroom teacher, Director of Academic Technology, and professional development consultant. She blogs regularly about innovation in education for EdTech Researcher at Education Week and Edutopia, presents nationally as well as internationally, and leads workshops in schools around the world for EdTechTeacher. She holds a Master’s degree in Technology Innovation & Education from Harvard University as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. Currently, Beth is a doctoral student at Johns Hopkins University in the Entrepreneurial Leadership in Education specialization. Her research focuses on designing organizational supports to implement systemic innovation with technology in American K-12 public school districts."

The leadership day should be a fantastic learning experience.

If you aren't interested in the leadership day, the actual institute is a 1 day conference on April 5th. The day will be filled with a lot of learning around the area of using technology in a 1:1 setting.
