Welcome back to the 2018/19 school year! Consider this opportunity to use the Clarity Survey by BrightBytes to help make decisions regarding integrating technology and driving the professional learning at your district.

  • Do you have updated survey data on your district's technology initiatives to share with your district's stakeholders?
  • Have you considered the Clarity Survey by BrightBytes to assess your district's technology initiatives?
  • If you've collected Clarity data in the past, have you made action plans around this data? Would you like assistance in developing these action plans?

If you'd like to address these questions and more, please consider joining us for our inaugural BrightBytes Data Summit which will now be held on November 6th, 2018 in Sioux City. The date change is due to BrightBytes hosting their own Summit in Austin around our original date which would have prevented us from having their professionals in attendance at our Summit.

Our data summit will bring your district's leadership teams together to build action plans around your Clarity Survey data.  At the summit, there will be examples of Clarity Survey success stories, opportunities for district-to-district networking, and on-site expert guidance from Brightbytes and Northwest AEA to help develop your action plans.

If you plan to attend, please note that you must have recent Clarity Survey data collected from the 2017/18 school year or from early 2018/19 school year (completed by the end of September/early October) to participate. The survey is at no cost to your district. If you need to take the survey, contact me ( or Karen Goldstein ( to get started. The time commitment can be minimal if you've collected before and are ready to survey for this year.

Please connect with me if you have any questions about the updated date and/or the BrightBytes Clarity Survey. You and your leadership teams can register directly from the flyer.
