Iowa State University will be hosting two workshops on the Pathways approach to pre-calculus instruction developed at Arizona State University, which was recently implemented at Iowa State.  The workshop will provide teachers with resources and materials to teach the pre-calculus class at their respective high school.  This class is designed to be a high school class that will simultaneously meet the requirements of the Iowa Core and prepare students for Calculus in college.

The first workshop will be held on June 30 and July 1.  The second will be held on August 21 and 22.  Each day's session will begin at 8:30am and last until 4:30p.m.  Location is yet to be determined but seats are limited.

If you are interested in attending either workshop, please send an email to mcnichol@iastate.edu and state which dates you want to attend.
