SIOUX CITY, IOWA (Jan. 13, 2020)—Northwest AEA's 25th Annual Centering on Centers will be held on Jan. 24 & 25, 2020 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sioux City. This year, we have Doug Clements presenting on Friday, and Brianna Sayre Geiser presenting on Saturday. Doug is known for his contributions with the Early Math Collaborative with the Erikson Institute and will be speaking about five surprising research findings about early mathematics and its importance in early childhood settings. Brianna is an early childhood consultant at Heartland AEA and will be giving us strategies for embedding math, literacy and social skills into the everyday routines in early childhood settings.
This conference is for anyone who works with young children including child care providers, preschool teachers and staff, kindergarten teachers, and anyone who wishes to know more about the importance of early math.
