SIOUX CITY, IA (Jan. 5, 2010)—Northwest AEA will be co-sponsoring the 15th Annual Centering of Centers Conference at the Sioux City Convention Center on January 29 and 30. This year's theme will be "Sensory Play for Everyday" and the keynote speaker will be Lisa Murphy, dubbed the Ooey Gooey lady. Murphy uses humor and real life anecdotes to tell audiences how to be more play-based in the classroom.
Educators, child care professionals and parents are invited to attend the two-day event. Registration begins each day at 8:00 a.m. and sessions start at 8:30 a.m. The sessions run through the day until approximately 3:30 p.m.

- Games Children Play
- Playing our Way to Reading Someday
