SIOUX CITY, IA (June 6, 2019)—***June 6, 2019 UPDATE*** Due to low registrations, the 2019 CISS conference has been canceled. It was scheduled in Sioux City on June 17 and 18. We hope to bring the conference back next year with a robust line-up. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Northwest AEA will hold the Collaborative Instruction Summer Symposium on June 17-18 in Sioux City. This conference is a combination of the former Northwest AEA Literacy Symposiums and the TICL conference held in June of each year. The conference has been reimagined and will be a great opportunity to connect with peers and experts who share similar commitments and challenges. Pre K-12 teachers, technology directors, teacher leaders, counselors, and administrators will all benefit from this conference.
Rushton Hurley will be the keynote speaker. He is the founder and executive director of Next Vista for Learning, which houses a free library of videos by and for teachers and students at NextVista.org.
