SIOUX CITY, IOWA (July 15, 2019)—Teacher leaders of today continually face new challenges in education. Educators, coaches, and administrators all have a role in creating a collaborative culture for teaching and learning. Explore how educators can cultivate a transformative learning environment where everyone thrives through a joint conference between Northwestern College and Northwest Area Education Agency (AEA). "Leadership in Education Conference" will be held on Oct. 14, 2019, at Northwestern College in Orange City.
Keynote speakers include Jimmy Casas, author and speaker, and Dr. Ryan Wise, director of the Iowa Department of Education. Breakout sessions will focus on building relationships, leading teams, and social-emotional behavior and mental health.
