SIOUX CITY, IA (Nov. 18, 2020)—Educators looking for strategies to boost the achievement of English Learner students can join Sherri Anderson (Northwest AEA) and Leslie Pralle-Osborn (Prairie Lakes AEA) for a book study using the book, Boosting Achievement: Reaching Students with Interrupted or Minimal Education, written by Carol Salva and Anna Matis.
Learning will focus on:
- practical methods based on recent research;
• classroom simulations;
• hands-on techniques to start using tomorrow; and
• video and testimony by teachers and students.
