Trauma and Crisis Support

For immediate crisis support, please contact Dr. Jill Brown at 712-222-6061.

Northwest AEA has a team of trained professionals to help support you and your staff with trauma and crisis events.

We are available to help before, during, and after crisis events.

PREPaRE Training

One of the best ways to be ready for a crisis event is to participate in the PREPaRE training curriculum, 3rd edition.  We have links to helpful materials in the resource section below.  We recommend that you complete the PREPaRE training before using these resources.

All school administrators and crisis response team members are encouraged to attend PREPaRE training.

The PREPaRE curriculum has been developed by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) as part of NASP's decade-long leadership in providing evidence-based resources and consultation related to school crisis prevention and response. PREPaRE training is ideal for schools committed to improving and strengthening their school safety and crisis management plans and emergency response. 2015 PREPaRE Logo
