Certified (Licensed) Staff: Salaries and Benefits




Here is the certified salary schedule. In addition to generous salaries, certified staff are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Professional Leave: Up to five days (at $1,000 per employee).
  • Sick Leave: 10 or more sick leave days per contract year.
  • Dental Insurance: Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and single plans available at minimal cost.
  • Health Insurance: Each regular full-time employee shall be covered by the group health insurance program put forth by the Northwest AEA Board. Current health plan options are through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Full healthcare cost coverages are available for single, single plus children and single plus spouse. Family plans are available at competitive costs.

Certified Staff: Licensure Requirements

Classified (Hourly) Staff: Salaries and Benefits




Here is the classified salary schedule. In addition to hourly salaries, certified staff are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Personal Leave: Two days per work year.
  • Sick Leave: Accumulated on an annual basis at the rate of one and a half days for each 20 days worked.
  • Dental Insurance: Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and single plans available at minimal cost.
  • Vacation Leave: One week during the first year; two weeks during years two to five; three weeks during years six through nine; and four weeks for 10+ years.
  • Health Insurance: Each regular full-time employee shall be covered by the group health insurance program put forth by the Northwest AEA Board. Current health plan options are through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Full healthcare cost coverages are available for single, single plus children, and single plus spouse. Family plans are available at competitive costs.

Management Staff: Benefits




In addition to generous salaries, management staff are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Professional Leave: Up to eight work days and a $1,600 reimbursement each year.
  • Vacation Leave: Twelve month employees are entitled to 20 days per year.
  • Dental Insurance: Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and single plans available at minimal cost.
  • Health Insurance: Each regular full-time employee shall be covered by the group health insurance program put forth by the Northwest AEA Board. Current health plan options are through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Full healthcare cost coverages are available for single, single plus children, and single plus spouse. Family plans are available at competitive costs.

Management Support Staff: Benefits




In addition to generous salaries, management support staff are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Professional Leave: Up to three work days and a $750 reimbursement each year.
  • Vacation Leave: Twelve month employees are entitled to two weeks during the first through fourth year; three weeks for years five through nine; and four weeks for 10+ years.
  • Dental Insurance: Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and single plans available at minimal cost.
  • Health Insurance: Each regular full-time employee shall be covered by the group health insurance program put forth by the Northwest AEA Board. Current health plan options are through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Full healthcare cost coverages are available for single, single plus children, and single plus spouse. Family plans are available at competitive costs.
